Loyal VC (“Loyal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a private, invitation-only network platform for founders, advisors, and investors in the Loyal VC community. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Loyal VC platform at app.loyal.vc and related services (the “Service”).

Access to the Service is limited to members we have invited. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — your name and one or more email addresses used to sign in to your account.
• Profile and network content — information you add to your profile (e.g. role, biography, areas of expertise, company details) and content you create on the Service, such as introduction requests, messages, engagements, and feedback.
• Google sign-in data — if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and basic profile information from Google to authenticate you and link you to your account. We request only basic profile and email scopes.
• Usage and device information — standard log and device data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed) generated when you use the Service.
• Communications — records of emails and notifications we send you and your related preferences.

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account;
• Authenticate you and keep the Service secure;
• Enable the introductions, connections, and collaboration the network is built for;
• Send transactional and notification emails you have not opted out of;
• Improve and develop the Service;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use Google sign-in data solely to authenticate you and connect you to your existing Loyal VC account. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

• With other members — your profile and network activity are shared with other members as needed to facilitate introductions and collaboration, consistent with how the Service works.
• With service providers — we rely on trusted vendors who process data on our behalf, including Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Google (sign-in). These providers may only use the data to provide services to us.
• For legal reasons — when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction.

We send transactional emails (such as sign-in links and verification codes) that are necessary to operate your account. We also send notification emails about activity relevant to you. You can manage or turn off notification emails at any time from your notification settings, or by using the unsubscribe link included in those emails. Transactional emails required to use the Service cannot be turned off.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

We use administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your profile information directly in the Service. To exercise other rights, contact us at the address below.

We and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this policy and applicable law.

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
